Maple Butter Pecan Ice cream

Servings:6 two small scoops

      Maple Butter Pecan Ice cream

Icecream:

1 Can full fat coconut milk

1/3 Cup Cashew Milk or Hemp

1/2 cup of Brown Sugar

Sprinkle of Sea Salt

3 tablespoon of Vegan Butter or 2 tablespoon of coconut oil butter

Blend for 1 min in a high speed blender(I use a Vitamix)

Line a loaf dish or whatever container you are using and pour mixture in container.Put in the freezer for 20 mins until you are still able to stir.Freezer vary so check frequently so it don't become soild just yet.

Candied Pecans:

1 cup pecans

Drizzle of Maple

Sprinkle of Brown Sugar

Drizzle of Coconut oil

Heat up pan on medium heat with oil inside.Let that warm.

ADD Pecans and toast until you get that faint aroma.

Add in maple and brown sugar.Stir and let hest for about 5 mins when the sauce just begins to bubble.Remove from stove top. 

Now,you have done both steps go take out your cream mixture give it a stir and fold in your candied pecans.Drizzle a little maple over the top and take a fork to fold it in.

Recover the cream mixture put back in freezer for 1 hour. Take out scoop and enjoy!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice cream w/ Peanut Butter Chunks

Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice cream w/ Peanut Butter chunks

Servings:6 

1 Full fat can of Coconut cream

4 tablespoon of Oat milk

1/3 cup of Creamy Peanut Butter

3 tablespoon of Cocoa

Sprinkle of Sea Salt

Drizzle of Agave

Blend all together

Add to dish

Drop 6-8 teaspoons of Peanut Butter to the mixture

Don't forget to smooth it!

Cover with wrap and Freeze for 2 hrs

Scoop and Serve.

Enjoy!

Day 6&7 All in One

We have started our amazing journey of unschooling! Our base will be All in One(Easy Peasy) along with All About Reading.To be completely honest things are going to well we do most days together and it roughly takes about three hours a day which isn't bad at all. Today on day seven she actually woke up ready for her lesson. She has caught on pretty quick on the day and how the whole system works.In just 7 days of lessons I'm convinced that shes retained more information now then she has in the past. I'm seriously just so pleased with how smooth things has started.

I had decided a few weeks back that we'd just start the program now to test the waters to see how everything went.At that moment I also decided we'd school year round. Easy Peasy offers so many classes beyond what I can even begin to explain it all right now but I will be soon!The biggest reward about this is she's Happy and Confident about it all.So welcome to our journey we hope you enjoy reading and watching all our videos.

      This week I received the most heart warming book ever. I read it to my kids not one time but we have literally read this book everyday.This book sends out such a positive message. I know there are so many children lately that just have no direction and its sad to see that. Sometimes all a child needs is something to relate to ...something to help them identify themselves and remind them why they are important When God Made you is just that book. The pictures are gorgeous! and the illustrations are culturally rich. The book is more of a read for little guys whose reading well since there are some difficult words in the book that younger children just beginning wouldn't grasp on well. You can purchase this newly released book on Amazon for $9.03 Hard Cover or 9.99 Kindle what an amazing deal for such a Awesome book.Below I have some pictures just to show you guys how beautiful the pictures are. The colors are so vibrant.  Currently this is our favorite book to read which is great because this book opened up many doors to find more of his books.We are in love with book and I hope you guys fall in love with it too !

Are We Homeschooling/Unschooling Again??!!!

             
              We have been so busy these last few weeks wrapping up the end of the school year. As many know both my kids attended public school for a full year. It was all new to them and a HUGE learning curve but they stomped through it all. We encountered tons of tears yet many moments of satisfaction and joy.I would say the year was a success at most. Issues we encountered is time.My Bumbas need plenty of time to understand the material they are given because their attention span is literally zero.This was their biggest struggle the whole year not being able to manage their time properly according to public school standards.With that, of course, comes so much stress that we all know is at times a big load to handle. So with that, we worked on learning how to be efficient with the everyday task and so fourth. I felt that was important and would aide in helping them in the long run with time management pertaining to their work.
               Ju and Ellie enjoyed the school year I feel but it was a little bit too much for them at times.June 1st was their last day and it wasn't bittersweet for them. Ellie brought it up to my attention she wants to continue being homeschooled even though she enjoyed public school she missed being homeschooled. I made sure she knew her decision and its ok if she chose to stay in public school. Ju he has expressed not wanting to go back also but I'm sure he'll try a few more times.I think for him school was overwhelming and he never really had that friend spark or that eagerness to learn in that setting but, whatever the case is he knows ultimately he has a say so.
         For the next couple of weeks, I will be making little packs and lesson plans for Ellie to prep her just in case we do jump into 1st-grade this year unschooling.This by far is an amazing adventure for all of us where we learn together as a family.I pretty much saw it coming from her.Ju, not so much he's his own person and my boy is getting older and developing into who he is which he's handling so well.I'm guessing we have a lot in store for this years and honestly, I'm so excited for all to come.

 Now, That we've had some time with our boxes that we recently got I can give you my honest opinion.   It took some times and comparing each box to figure out which was best for us. In the end, Kidpik stole us. Absolutely nothing was wrong with KIDBOX but, Kidpik is better on the pockets and Bumba loves they come with shoes! The Diva in her came out when she saw the shoes and just every piece was perfect for her.What I personally didn't like is there's no boys box. I definitely have a son and he would probably enjoy this box too. If you're on a budget this is for you I mean for less than $80 bucks and I have 3-6 interchangeable outfits is a win-win.             Did you know that the law doesn't required disclosure on cleaning products ?Well, they don't   Scary right ? I never really realized it until one day I was looking for a certain ingredient in a soap and there was no ingredients anywhere to be found. This was concerning for me since my family has quite a few people with sensitive skin and so fourth. We are usual user of unscented or gentle cleaning products. Its important for not only us but everyone to know whats going into their bodies. A lot of allergic reactions come from products our body cant handle on the skin. Staying with organic and natural products is always the best route to go to avoid unwanted ingredients but,be careful! since there are some products that claim the title organic but isn't quite organic or in some situations natural either. There is a wonderful way to stand up for this and make manufactures disclose their ingredients on their products being sold and that my friends is supporting the  Comeclean Campaign and be aware of the Cleaning Product Right to Know Act ( H.R. 5205).Not sure of who to trust ? Review:Purely fun leave in and 3in1..I received these products free of charge. The big bottle I had already received from the company when they launched it to test ..we've been using for a month now and 
I actually like this product.It smells good...it conditions her hair well and the leave in is good so far ..we used it first time today after washing her hair with the 3in1..not bad at all..awesome lather and it retains some of her curls..as for the leave in so far I like it it's not sticky and it smells like the 3in1 and a little bit goes a long way.

Sparkling Lemon Ice Mountain Spring Water

I had the opportunity to review this sparkling natural spring water in lemon flavor. This water was a toss up for me. I enjoyed it but I cant say I loved it. Although its surely a thirst quencher I prefer like a peach or strawberry flavor or even grape. When you first open it the fizz is mesmerizing and the bubbles are great ! Open slowly though because I defiantly almost made a mess from the instant fizz attack. I would say this would be great cold over ice and maybe add some fruit in it for a simple delicacy. I did try this warm which could be the reason I didn't care for it much. The size of the bottle I received was easily enough for two people to share at 16.9 fl oz .Best part about this drink is its just 3 ingredients.

                              Unschooling here has been going amazing there's defiantly some rough patches but together we will get through it and have a great year. Actually this year we are going to do year round with some occasional breaks in the year. 
                   Starting off today we are still following up with our work last week. Last week Jourdan worked on Addition,Subtraction,Fractions, Science -Life cycle ,Social Studies -States ,and Language words,recognition, spelling, combinations,and writing. 

Vegan Peanut Butter and Maple Muffins !!Ready in 25 minutes!

Quick Recipe Post !!!!!  These babies are so easy and yummy to make. The whole family could defiantly enjoy them. They are very fluffy and just a hint of peanut butter and maple perfect with some coconut milk or even oat milk. I prefer them warm with extra peanut butter spread on top !!! 
Ingredients: 
1 cup of Self rising flour 
3 tablespoons of Peanut butter
2-3 tablespoons of Organic coconut oil
4 tablespoons of  Raw maple syrup
3/4 cup of Coconut Milk  

Instructions: 

1. Pre-heat oven to 350
2. Mix peanut butter and oil into the flour until it becomes crumbly
3. Add the milk and maple together and stir just a few times
4. Bake these bad boys for 15mins 

Lets these cool completely .Enjoy !! These are perfect for snack ,breakfast,or a little treat to put in a packed lunch.These muffins muffins literally take no effort at all.Super simple with awesome ingredients.
